Choral Scholarships 2025-26
Applications are now open. The deadline for receipt of applications is 9am on Thursday 1st May 2025, but early application is encouraged as there is a limited number of audition spaces.
Audition Date: Saturday 10th May 2025 at St John’s Hyde Park.
Audition Requirements: one solo from Handel’s Messiah, plus your choice of a contrasting work, preferably either opera or musical theatre. There will also be some sight-reading tests.
Applications are annually sought for 8 choral scholars (SSAATTBB). To qualify for the scholarship scheme supported by the William Gibbs Religious & Educational Trust (totalling up to £240 per week), candidates must be in full-time education during their tenure and be able to live in the parish or an adjoining parish. Maps can be supplied.
The scholarship year will run from September 2025 to July 2026.
